Heal Smart is an healthcare education digital app dedicated to spreading awareness about opioid misuse and its prevention to its users. Heal Smart app consists of three main sections viz are pre-surgical, post-surgical and Comfort Care. The app provides information on pain management techniques along with some activities to help users understand and manage their pain without using any opioids unless prescribed by their healthcare professional. The aim of this app is to educate the users on risks of opioid overdose as well as guiding them in their pain management and recovery journey by introducing new tools and techniques.
Our team of four, designed this app from scratch aligning it with our client's vision and goals. We thoroughly researched the topic by conducting exploratory research and built an information architecture of the Heal Smart app after taking careful consideration of our client's needs without deviating from product requirements. Throughout the project, we took feedback from client and design experts to make sure that we are on the right path. For our final step, we created a style guide, visual design, component library and an interactive prototype. The end result that we got is a design template to build on the Heal Smart App which will be passed on to developers for further implementation.
